Hip Replacement:
A hip replacement is an extremely reliable operation that is used to alleviate the pain and disability that results from an arthritic hip joint. It involves replacing both the ball and socket. I do this procedure via a minimal incision posterior approach. The technology around this procedure is constantly advancing. New prostheses and techniques continue to improve outcomes of the surgery and longevity of the implant. We aim to have you walking the day of, or day after, your operation and back to low impact activities after 4–6 weeks.
